The Globe is a unique hostel, being small and owner operated, we offer a comfortable and welcoming style of backpacker accommodation where you can meet new friends and see the best of Sydney.

Located in Sydney's favourite Backpacker quarter, Kings Cross, The Globe can give you the Sydney experience you are looking for. Whether you enjoy the cosmopolitan lifestyle of the caf' set, the nightclub scene or a good book in a quiet park, we've got it all for you. A brief walk will take you through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House and the magnificent Sydney Harbour, or a 20 minute bus trip will take you to the popular Bondi Beach. Buses and trains are only 2 minutes from our door.

If you arriving at the airport between 8.00am and 6:00pm, and only for bookings of 4 nights or more, simply call us for a free airport pickup. For booking less then 4 nights, Shuttle Buses are available from the airport for around $12.00 per person, or trains to Kings Cross for around $17.00. A Taxi will cost around $35.00.

Coming to Sydney by bus or train? Catch the train from platform 24 at Central Station & get off at Kings Cross Station, from which we are just a 100m walk, opposite McDonald's on Darlinghurst Road.
