Sukhumvit On Nut Guesthouse is a small but cozy accommodation run by a Japanese-Burmese couple. We are located just between the Bangkok Airport and the central area. We are in the quiet neighborhood, but still within a walking distance from BTS Bangchak (8 min) or On-nut(12 min) stations. Enjoy your stay with our warm hospitality!

Although you can reach us by public transportation easily, you can also get entitled to use our free airport pick-up service, if you stay more than 3 nights (Double), 4 nights (Standard/Garden), 7 nights (AC Dorm), or 9 nights (Fanned Dorm). A booking must be made in advance separately from room/bed booking.

Social contribution is of our utmost importance. We donate the 10 percent of our revenue to aid the most needy and vulnerable people in this area. Due to the recent unstability in Myanmar, many people of minority tribes are taking shelter at the refugee camps in the border area of Thailand. We will help those people. The guesthouse has its own restaurant named 'Cedarberg Diner'. It has decent menus of Thai, Japanese, and Western meals. Room service is available. Local beers are available in the evening at Diner's pub section.

Intensive Thai and Burmese language courses are available for guesthouse guests. Also Thai and Burmese cooking classes can be held on request.

Directions
(1) From SUVARNABHUMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
--- PUBLIC BUS (Minivan No.552, 45 min, 25 Baht, 6:00-22:00)
From the terminal building, take a free shuttle bus to the Airport Bus Terminal. Then take a minivan No.552 bound for BTS On-nut Station (25 Baht). Get off 'Sukhumvit 56/89' bus stop. It takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
You will see a walking bridge near the 'Sukhumvit 58/89' bus stop. Cross the bridge to the other side of Sukhumvit Road. It's the entrance of 'Sukhumvit Soi 89' (this street is well-marked). Go in Soi 89. You will find our guesthouse on the left side (about 150m away from the entrance of Soi 89). We have a big black signboard outside.
--- TAXI (25 min, 160-190 Baht, via On Nut Rd.)
Taxi is the most convenient way if you have a big backpack or suitcase. Meter charge from the airport to our guesthouse will be US$4-5 (160-190 Baht) via On Nut Road (the shortest route). Some taxi drivers may want to take a faster route (Bang Na - Trad Road). In this case, the fare may be around US$7-9 (240-290 Baht). Passengers departing the International Airport must pay an additional 50-baht surcharge.
Remember, all taxis are metered, and you do not need to use a toll road. So, please request the taxi driver to use a meter and not to use a toll road.
--- Trains (AIRPORT LINK & BTS, 190 Baht, 6:00-24:00)
Take Airport Link (City Line) and then get off at Phayathai (last station) (150 Baht). Change to BTS for Bearing, and get off at Bang Chak station (40 Baht).
(2) From BTS Bang Chak Station:
You can walk to our guesthouse (9 minutes) or take a motorcycle taxi (15 Baht, 2 minutes).
--- ON FOOT (WALK)
After getting off a train, you should go downstairs (to street level) using the Exit 5 (RIGHT SIDE) staircases. Walk along the right side (odd number street side) of Sukhumvit Road for 400m. You will find a street sign that reads 'Sukhumvit 89'. Turn right and walk 150m more. You will see our guesthouse on the left side of the street.
--- MOTORCYCLE TAXI
You will find motorcycle taxis, whose drivers wear orange-color uniform (number cloth), at the entrance of Sukhumvit Soi 93. Tell your driver 'Guesthouse on Sukhumvit 89'. It takes 2 minutes and the cost is 15 Baht one way.
(3) From SUKHUMVIT 56/89 BUS STOP
The nearest bus stop to our guesthouse is 'Sukhumvit 58/89' bus stop. The minivan 552 from the International Airport also stops here (Be sure to ask your bus driver to locate this bus stop).
Buses 2, 23, 25, 38, 46, 48, 116, 507, 508, 511, 545, minivan 552 stop here. After getting off a bus, find the street sign of 'Sukhumvit Soi 89', and then walk into the Soi 89. It takes 2 minutes on foot or 20 seconds by motorcycle taxi (5 Baht). You can find our guesthouse on the left side (approximately 150m from the bus stop).
(4) From HUALANPONG STATE RAILWAY STATION
--- PUBLIC BUS
Buses 25, 46 and 507 directly takes you to the nearest bus stop to our guesthouse. Get off at the second bus stop past On Nut Station. From the bus stop, follow the instruction in the 'From Sukhumvit 89 Bus Stop:' section above.
--- TRAINS
Take an MRT to Sukhumvit Station (24 Baht), then change to BTS at connecting Asok station for Bearing, and get off at Bang Chak station (30 Baht), where is located at a 9-minute walk from the guesthouse. From Bang Chak Station, follow the instruction in the 'From BTS Bang Chak Station:' section above.
--- TAXI
It takes 20-90 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares may be 60-180 Baht. Avoid using taxis during the rush hours (7:00-8:30, 18:00-19:30) on weekdays. An additional toll road charge (45 Baht) may apply. All taxis are metered.
(5) From NORTHERN BUS STATION (MO CHIT MAI)
--- TRAIN
Take a motorcycle taxi or metered taxi to BTS Mo Chit Station, take BTS Skytrain for Bearing, and get off at Bang Chak, where is located at a 9-minute walk from the guesthouse. From Bang Chak Station, follow the instruction in the 'From BTS Bang Chak OnStation:' section above.
--- TAXI
It takes 25-60 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares may be 120-200 Baht. Try to avoid using a taxi during the rush hours (7:00-8:30, 18:00-19:30). An additional toll road charge (45 Baht) may apply. All taxis are metered.
(6) From SOUTHERN BUS STATION (SAAI TAI MAI)
--- PUBLIC BUS
Buses 507 and 511 directly takes you to the nearest bus stop to our guesthouse. Get off at the second bus stop past On Nut Station. From the bus stop, follow the instruction in the 'From Sukhumvit 89 Bus Stop:' section above.
---TAXI
It takes approximately 35-120 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares may be 160-270 Baht. Try to avoid using a taxi during the rush hours (6:30-9:30, 17:00-20:00). An additional toll road charge (40 Baht) may apply. All taxis are metered.
(7) From EASTERN BUS STATION (EKKAMAI)
--- PUBLIC BUS
Take eastbound bused 2, 25, 38, 45, 48, or 511. Get off at the second bus stop past On Nut Station. When you are coming from Pattaya, Chomburi, Ko Samet, or Trat, all buses stop at On Nut Station, where is located a 12-minute walk away from the guesthouse. So you don't need to ride to the Eastern Bus Terminal. From the bus stop, follow the instruction in the 'From Sukhumvit 56/89 Bus Stop:' section above.
--- TAXI
It takes approximately 10-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares may be 55-90 Baht. Try to avoid using a taxi during the rush hours (7:00-8:30, 18:00-19:30). All taxis are metered.
(8) From KAOSAN ROAD
--- PUBLIC BUS
Take 2 or 511 from the nearest bus stop to Kaosan Road (located at the northern side of the wide street). Please pay attention to a signboard at the bottom right corner of the windscreen of buses. If they have some signboard ( written in Thai, approximately 60cm x 40cm) behind the front glass, the bus goes expressway and does not come to 'Sukhumvit 56/89' bus stop. You must take 2 or 511 with no signboard behind its windscreen.
Buses 2 and 511 directly takes you to the nearest bus stop to our guesthouse. Get off at the second bus stop past On Nut Station. From the bus stop, follow the instruction in the 'From Sukhumvit 89 Bus Stop:' section above.
It takes 40-100 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares are 8 Baht for No. 2, and 20 Bahts for No. 511. Try to avoid using a bus during the rush hours (7:00-8:30, 18:00-19:30).
--- MOTORCYCLE TAXI & TRAIN
The fastest way from Kaosan to the On Nut Guesthouse is to use a motorcycle taxi to Rachathewii BTS station (50-60 Bahts), and then take a BTS train for Bearing, and then get off at Bang Chak (40 Baht). It takes 35 minutes. If you have a big backpack or suitcase, you may use a bus 2, 79, or 511 (7-18 Baht), or a taxi (55-100 Baht) from Kaosan to Rachathewii BTS station. From On Nut Station, follow the instruction in the 'From BTS Bang Chak Station:' section above.
--- TAXI
It takes approximately 25-120 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Fares may be 120-220 Baht. Try to avoid using a taxi during the rush hours (7:00-8:30, 18:00-19:30). Remember. All taxis are metered. Kaosan is notorious for rip-off taxis. So if a driver does not want to use a meter, just forget him and find another taxi.
