About Strattons Hostel

Strattons Hostel is located in the heart of the CBD and in Sydney's central 'backpacking hub'.

We are only a 15 minute train ride from the Airport, minutes walk from Sydney Opera House, Hyde Park, Town Hall, Central Station, Queen Victoria Buildings, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and the list goes on.... Then come the bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants and funky cafe's... Escape the city for a day at the famous Bondi Beach by catching an express bus from just up the road. Once there you can chill on the beach or in a beach-side bar and for the energetic travellers, the Bondi to Coogee walk showcases some amazing beaches, bays, reefs and big surf...

New Years Eve in Sydney is going to be HUGE! World Square Hostel has a 5 night minimum stay for this period. This means any guests staying over new years must stay for 5 nights minimum. This applies to any guest with part or all of their stay between 27/12/11 and 05/01/11.

Bookings made over the New Yearï¿½s period will be charged for the first night within one week, this charge is non refundable. The remainder will be charged on December 1st and is non refundable. In the event that the card details are invalid on either date the booking will be cancelled.

22/12/12 - 05/01/13. Bookings will be charged for the first night in the weeks following the booking. The remainder of the balance will be charged on November 1st. In the event that the card details are invalid on either date the booking will be cancelled. Each of these charges is non refundable and non transferable.

***IMPORTANT*** CHECK IN IS AT WORLD SQUARE HOSTEL 640 GEORGE ST (corner George and Liverpool street above the Hungry Jacks). There is no reception on-site at Strattons Hostel.

From Sydney Airport take an airport shuttle bus to the city and ask for World Square Hostel. The entrance is located next to Hungry Jacks on Liverpool Street (Corner of George).

Or take the airport train to the city and get off at Museum Station. Then walk 200m down Liverpool Street and we are just on the right before you hit George Street.

From Central Station walk up George Street till you hit Liverpool Street and the entrance is located next to Hungry Jacks on Liverpool Street.

From Town Hall Station come out of the George Street exit and walk towards Central Station until you hit Liverpool Street. The entrance is located next to Hungry Jacks on Liverpool Street.

Little expensive for a room with two comfortable. Very cold in winter because it is poorly insulated, provide heating. Own shower and wc. Single flat: small kitchen which is not necessarily very clean, since it is cleaned up by those who eat. Very friendly home.
