About St Christopher's Oasis

This is the St-Christopher’s Female only hostel, situated on the same street as our famous party hostel The Village. The Oasis offers a quieter, more relaxed place to stay while still in the hustle and bustle of central London. All Oasis guests have full access to all the facilities we offer at The Village as well as free towels and toiletries.

At the Oasis you can also book our private rooms as a twin or a double, but please be aware this hostel is female only.

The two beds available in the female only, private room, can be booked separately.

Just because you’re staying in a hostel doesn’t mean you should be deprived of a good rest. The Oasis is the perfect place for a restful and relaxing visit to this great capital city. Your bed will be in a quiet, cosy, clean and comfortable room, but don’t worry about missing out on any of the fun, because sharing the high street with the Oasis, you'll find our sister hostels - St Christopher’s Inn and the Village - the perfect venues for a pint and a party.

With St Christopher’s Inns you get the best of all worlds - the quiet Oasis, the historic Inn and party central Village have everything you could ever possibly need. Living so close to the city centre allows you to walk to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. These are the attractions that don’t need an introduction or an explanation, and they’re the reasons why thousands of tourists come to London every year.

There is also the Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also sells speciality food, seafood and organic and fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must see list, when visiting England’s capital. Grab a coffee at one of the cosy market side cafes and watch the world go by.

No matter which hostel you’re checking into, reception is at the Village. This is the hub site of the street with our chill-out room featuring a TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and comfy couches – available to everyone staying at our London Bridge hostels. The Village also offers a variety of activities from Walking tours and Ultimate Frisbee during the day to movie marathons and pub crawls in the evenings.

Well, almost perfect.

Except: j ' was impressed by the price of the bar. I thought that the price would be adapted "mowed special students", but not. A glass of orange juice, with the map of the hostel was worth £ 1.7, while a full bottle in the supermarket on the other side was worth £ 1. Damage, I made my choice (and my University, a large glass is 0.80 cents euros, that is to say to can almost £ 0.70).

-Internet: super. But computers are slow! I took 12 min. I wanted just to check my emails hotmail and facebook. I had the time to launch facebook, read my emails and not even respond. Hmmm... Slow, you said slow?

Well, these are only details and otherwise, everything was great! The rooms are very clean, as showers. And as it was my first time in a youth hostel, I was very pleasantly surprised ^-^ thank you!
