About Musas Residence
Las Musas, with its combination of friendly staff and great facilities, makes for an excellent hostel choice in the heart of Madrid.
With our 24-hour reception you can take those low-cost early morning flights and check in here whenever you arrive.
We're only 5-10 minutes walk away from the main attractions such as Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the world-famous 'Golden Triangle' of art museums - the Thyssen, the Prado and the Reina Sofia.
We have a wide selection of rooms, some with ensuites and air conditioning. Each bed has its own locker; all you need is your own padlock.
Here at Las Musas we also want you to enjoy yourself while exploring the city so we organise daily free walking tours and pub crawls to experience the amazing nightlife of Madrid. We have a private flamenco show, tapas tour and drinking games night with free sangria.
Please note that when making reservations for more than one person that you are reserving beds inside a room of that type and may not be placed in the same room.

Important Information
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check in date in order to receive a refund.
Our reception is open 24 hours so don't worry if you have to check in late in the evening or very early in the morning.

The nearest Metro stop is 'Tirso de Molina' (Line 1, light-blue color)
Once you get out of the metro, take Calle de Jesus y Maria and follow it for about 100m and you'll find Musas Residence on the right-hand side.
From the airport:
By subway:
Take pink line (nº 8) until the last station which is 'Nuevos Ministerios'; change to the dark blue line (nº 10).
Head down on line 10 to 'Tribunal'; then change to the light blue line (nº 1) and get off at 'Tirso de Molina'.
By taxi it costs about €35.
From Atocha train station:
By subway:
Take the light blue line (nº 1) up to 'Tirso de Molina'.
By taxi from Atocha it costs about €6.
From Chamartín train station:
By subway:
Take line nº10 to 'Plaza Castilla',
Change onto the light blue line (nº 1) line up to 'Tirso de Molina'.
By taxi it costs about €15.

A warm welcome on the part of the staff, good atmosphere, local clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen... I think the hostel ideal for a few days!
Only flat, the blankets in the rooms a little small for the hesitant!

+: Nice staff (not all, but overall Yes). Breakfast at will but no drink, kitchen, good location.
-: the House where I had a window that does not close, the radiator does not really heated and it was very cold (I was there in early February). (for the last night things are arranged). Coverage was too small for me and not covered me fully. Lockers are in need of a lock (if you do not have one, they cost 3euros at the hostel!).

I like the hostel! Mainly by its ubication in the city centre and for its propété and its very comfortable rooms! It was also easy to reach. Officials are very nice and there are PCO to people of different nationalities with which have can share. Excellent!

Auberge très bien située à 10 min de Sol donc très pratique.
Personnel sympa
Frigos et cuisine pratiques
Petit bémol : pas de petites lumières persos dans les chambres.
Les douches manquent d'installations (pour poser la serviette / les produits douches...).
Cela dit je recommande le séjour dans cette auberge.

The Hostel is near by everything important: metro, grocerie store, market and good cafes. It is really clean, the rooms are confortable with a clean bathroom with shower. The kitchen is perfect to cook with many fridg, an oven and every utensil . The people are nice and can informe you about the city.

Very easy to find. Very convivial mood. Quiet street.
Bad bedding. No cleaning service between each day if you stay more than 1 day.
