Security : It's very important for us. We have Security Camaras and Key Card access in all areas as well as Free and Safe Lockers for every guess. If you have any big value thing to keep it safe,please, tell us at arrival and we will take care of it.
All Bathrooms and showers are new, as well as the bunks with drawers and lockers into the dorms. Each bed has its own light and plug for your Mobile, iPod or Laptop.
Our hostel is bright and clean . We are ideally located just a few minutes walking distance from the city's most interesting cultural and architectural sights such as the cathedral, Picasso Museum, Las Ramblas, loads of Gaudi architecture and more.
Mediterranean is a new and friendly hostel inspired by our experiences of travelling around the world as backpackers like you!! We hope you'll find a comfortable and sociable atmosphere where you can discover our Catalan culture as you please.
If you are flying with Ryanair (Girona airport) we are only 15 minutes away from the bus stop.

Directions
If you arrive by train to Sants Station, change onto the metro and take the blue line (Line 5) to Verdaguer metro Station and change onto the yellow line (Line-4) ,get off at Girona metro Station which is the metro stop next to the hostel.
(Do not go to Girona city!!! It's 1,5 hours from Barcelona!)
If you arrive by plane to Prat Airport (Terminal 1), take the Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya (last stop), there take the metro, red line (Line 1) one stop to Urquinaona Station, switch to Line 4 (yellow) to Girona station (2 stops). In Girona street corner Diputació street you will find the hostel at number 335 of Diputació st.
Of course, from Plaza Catalunya you can walk 10 minutes to the Hostel (check the map).
If you arrive at Barcelona Airport Terminal 2 (Ryanair, Easyjet) take the train to Passeig de Gracia Station. There switch to metro, L-4 and in one stop get off at Girona Station, next to the hostel.
If you arrive at Girona Airport, the bus gets you to Barcelona Estacio del Nord . The bus will leave you at the bus station which is within walking distance to the hostel. Walk up Calle roger de flor and turn left at calle Diputacio. It will take 10/15 mins. By metro take the Line 1, one stop to Urquinaona station, switch to line 4 (yellow) and in 2 stops get off in Girona station. If you have heavy luggage, a taxi won't cost more than 6/7 euros.
The same way if you arrive by bus (Estacio del Nord).

Well located, can do everything on foot (or almost!), nice home, just what makes a good youth hostel. Small flat, I had taken a room double history to be quiet romantic, and was completely removed from the hostel (4 floors above), cold and very wet room. By contrast although calm.

Hotel very well located, close enough to everything. The rooms and common showers are clean, they are cleaned every day.

Hotel nice clean and well located. Nearby the Razzmataz. Only point black, showers my taste man felt the humidity and were not very large. But offset by the General State of the hotel (own and nine) and rooms (own with large balconies).

Superb hostel, well put, showers and toilets are cleaned every day. My bed was infested with small chips (just mine!), there was just a concern that after 8 nights my fact the nice gift of 10 bite just on my hand, imagine the rest ^ ^.
Apart from this I spent a very good stay in Barcelona (8 days)

Très bon emplacement!
Notre chambre était grande (avec un blacon).
Les lits sont comfortables et il y a beaucoup d'espace de rangement!
4 ordinateurs gratuits avec accès a internet.
Les toilettes sont très propres. En fait, l'auberge en général est très propre et tout est récemment rénové.
Le personnel est très serviable.

The location of the hostel is very near to metro station,many shops and resturants, so it's convinient for us tourist. The staffs are kind and helpful. There're also some funs that you can enjoy. Our room is ok, but refreshed, so there's unpleasant smellings sometimes. The beds are not also clean as well as the bathroom. Anyway, a good place for tourist to stay.
