About Mad Hostel
Welcome to Mad Hostel!
The Mad Hostel is located in a newly refurbished 'Corrala', which is a traditional Madrileño building! Within a 10-minute walk you can visit the most important museums in town, hang out on the most beautiful squares and party until late in one of the craziest party areas in Spain!
We offer accommodation in rooms for four-to-six people with or without private bathroom.
We managed to combine old Spanish charm with modern facilities, basically everything your backpacker heart could dream about. Included in the price is breakfast, sheets, security lockers, baggage storage and free Internet and Wi-Fi! There’s also laundry facilities, vending machines and a gym.
You can cook meals in our kitchen, chill out on our roof-top terrace or watch some satellite TV.
Best of all, there’s no lock-out and no curfew so you can come and go as you please. We throw great extra parties like our tapas tour and pub crawls.
Well, that sounds pretty Mad, don’t you think?!

Important Information
People under the age of 17 years are only allowed to stay in private dormitory rooms that are booked for the use of one family and can not be shared with other guests.
If you’ll be arriving later than 21:00 please contact us by email beforehand in order to keep your reservation. Please notice that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy and it’s only possible to cancel by email; otherwise, we must charge the full amount of the first night.
A €10 deposit is payable in cash upon arrival.
We do not accept bookings of more than 10 people. We reserve the right to cancel such reservation without refund. Bookings of 10 people or more are considered groups and must be made through the group reservation department.

Our nearest metro Metro stop is 'Antón Martín' (Line 1, light-blue)
Once you get out of the metro take Calle de la Magdalena and follow it for about 100m. Take the second street to the left (Calle del Olivar) and then immediately take the first street to the right - this is our street, Calle de la Cabeza. About 50m down the street you'll find the Mad Hostel on the left-hand side.
From the airport:
By subway:
Take pink line (Line 8) until the end of the line at 'Nuevos Ministerios'. Change here to the dark blue line (Line 10) and take it to 'Tribunal'. Change at Tribunal to the light blue line (Line 1) and go to 'Anton Martin'.
By taxi it costs about €30.
From Atocha train station:

Adorei a estadia. Situado no centro da cidade de fácil acesso a todo o lado. O espaço está muito bem organizado, com acesso gratuito a vários serviços incluindo net, wi fi e sala de convivio/bar. Pessoal simpático e prestativo. Recomendo vivamente! Vou voltar concerteza ;)

Overall, it was a perfect stay. The staff is very kind and very helpfull. Everyday we had a nice (and free) breakfast, which included croissant, bread, with milk or juice, or cornflakes. The hostel was clean in every morning, which was great. The bathroom was okay too. Always clean also. The only thing we though it could be better was the space of our bedroom . The bedroom really, only had space for the four beds, where we slept. But the room was also clean, had clean sheets and had modern lockers.
The hostel has a great localization, near two different subways, and near (on foot) of a lot of great places to see in Madrid, especially Puerta del Sol.
It was a great experience and we recomend it to everyone. If we went back to madrid, we would choose Mad Hostel again! :)

A very good address!
We were 6 in a room quite large with a spacious bathroom. Everything is very clean, the common room is great!
The small dèj is served until 10: 00 (orange juice, increasing, chocolate, coffee, toast with jam...).
The hostel is very well located, 10 minutes walk of all (the centre, museums...).
Reception staff is very friendly and this 24/7.
I advising to all!

The kitchen is almost non-existent and refectory room is absolutely not easy or pleasant (there is no Windows). Breakfast is not at will.
Side health, it is impossible to shower without soak his affairs.
The rooms are too small and the winter it is cold. The staff is not particularly nice.
It must be a deposit for the key of the hostel.

Gostei do Hostel, bem localizado, o café-da-manhã é muito gostoso, os maleiros são espaçosos e banheiros são divididos em masculino os feminino, só achei o sistema de abrir as portas falho, é super Poder chegar No. quarto sem fazer barulho, e que os banheiros deveriam ter ganchos para pendurarmos as roupas na parte interna do box, e as cobertas das camas menos empoeiradas!
