The Youth Hostel Hütteldorf is right on the subway line U4, which brings you in 20 minutes to downtown and in 10 minutes to the Schönbrunn Palace and the Naschmarkt (Vienna’s most popular market). The house itself is situated on the edge of the forest, surrounded by numerous walking and bike trails and a large garden. The unique features and the sensational price make us irresistible to every hostel traveler.
Room and Reception Facilities:
We have 60 bright rooms with 2-7 beds in the traditional youth hostel multi-bed rooms style. Some rooms have shower or shower / WC and all have free lockable cabinets. If you do not have your own padlock, you can purchase one at the reception. There our friendly, multilingual staff stays at your disposal 24 hours a day. There you will also find free city maps, timetables and other information for your stay in Vienna.
You can arrive at any time, the rooms are ready after 3:00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can use our free luggage room.
Service facilities:
You can watch television via satellite, play pool and tabletop soccer in the lounge, or do your laundry with our own washing machine and dryer. In the small guest kitchen you can prepare simple meals with the microwave and there’s also a kettle and fridge.

Important Information
The rooms are closed because of cleaning from 10:00 am to 3 pm - if you arrive before 3 pm you can drop your bags in our luggage room for free!
Lockers in every room - just bring your own padlock with you!
An International Students Identity Card ISIC or International Youth Hostel Card is necessary - otherwise there's an extra fee of € 3,50 per person per night!
A HEARTY BUFFET-BREAKFAST is included in the room rate!
Cancellations can be made via Email / Fax / Phone 24hrs before arrival! If there's no in-time cancellation, we take the whole 1st night as a cancellation fee from your credit card!

From the airport :
Take local train S7 or CAT to 'Landstrasse/Wien Mitte', change to U4 (green underground line) until 'Hütteldorf' - take exit 'Hadikgasse' on left side at station - cross the footbridge and follow the sign '300 m hostel'...
Some trains stop directly at Station Hütteldorf - Check your itinerary! For example some trains from Salzburg, Linz, St.Pölten, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt or even some from Zürich, Munich, Hamburg, Budapest or Venice.
From railway station 'Wien West' :
Take U6 to 'Längenfeldgasse', change to U4 to 'Hütteldorf' - rest as above...
From railway station 'Wien Meidling' :
Take U6 to 'Längenfeldgasse', change to U4 to 'Hütteldorf - rest as above ....

He Posto in cui si trovo ostello Houtteldorf è veramente carino anche is a P2O fuori dal centro (tanto che is trovate a cartina di Vienna è esattamente fuori dalla cartina) ma comunque con the metropolitana if arrived in centro nel giro di 15 min massimo...I ragazzi che lavorano dentro sono molto simpatici, è a parcheggio riservato all'ostello, non ci sono coprifuoco e i dormitori sono abbastanza puliti. È abbastanza abbondante colazione (anche is manca di miele).
Lo consiglio, anche perchè is above trova has in Vienna un periodo di bassa stagione, costa veramente poco.
