About Hostel Die Etage
Our Hostel 'Die Etage' is one of the nicest hostels in West Berlin, located near the Kurf�rstendamm (Berlin City West). With our central location in Berlin (near several S + U-Bahn and buses) all districts are within reach quick and easy.
We are in east Berlin, only 4 stops from Alexanderplatz! Our budget hostel has 24hr hot showers, no curfew, free Internet and Wi-Fi, free maps, a TV lounge, lockers and luggage storage. The lounge is equipped with a kitchenette, with a coffee machine, microwave, kettles, a fridge and a vending machine.
One of the nicest hostels in the city of West Berlin, near the Kurf�rstendamm.
Because of our central location (close to several subway lines and
buses) you will quickly reach all the districts of this city.
We permanently have special offers. A bed starts at 10.00 to 10.00.
Bed linen is included in the price.
Our rooms are comfortably furnished, we have 1-bed to 8-bed rooms including 6 and 8 bed dorms and a separate multi-bed room for women only.
Our toilets are located on the floor, where we have separate showers.

How to get here:
We are located near S-Bahn Station Halensee (S41, S42, S45), S-Bahn Station Charlottenburg (S5, S75, S9), and the bus routes X10, M19, and M29.
From S-Bahn station Halensee:
Exit the S-Bahn station Halensee and turn right on Kurfürstendamm.
Cross the street and after about 200 meters, turn left on Katharinenstraße. We are located at Katharinenstraße 14.
From S-Bahn station Charlottenburg:
After exiting the train, follow the exit sign for 'Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße.'
Walk down the stairs and take the left exit from the S-Bahn station (Lewishamstraße).
Turn right on Gervinusstraße. Gervinusstraße becomes Heilbronner Straße after Kracauer Platz.
Turn left on Katharinenstraße. We are located at Katharinenstraße 14.
From Tegel Airport:
Take the X9 bus (direction: S+U Zoologischer Garten) to S+U Jungfernheide Bahnhof.
Take the S42 (direction: Ringbahn S42) to Halensee (4 stops).
Follow above directions from Halensee S-Bahn station
From Schönefeld Airport:
Walk from the airport to the S-Bahn Station Berlin-Schönefeld (about 6 minutes)
Take the S9 (Direction: Spandau) to S-Charlottenburg.
Follow above directions from Charlottenburg S-Bahn station.
or
Take the Bus 171 (direction: U Hermannplatz) to S+U Neukölln.
Take the S41 (direction: Ringbahn S 41) to Halensee.
Follow above directions from Halensee S-Bahn station.
From Hauptbahnhof (main train station):
Take the S5 (direction: Westkreuz), S7 (direction: Potsdam Hbf), the S75 or S9 (direction: Spandau) to S-Bahn station Charlottenburg
Follow above directions from Charlottenburg S-Bahn station.
From ZOB am Funkturm (Bus station):
Take the Bus 104 (direction Stralau, Tunnelstr.) to S Halensee
Cross the street and after about 200 meters, turn left on Katharinenstraße. We are located at Katharinenstraße 14.

Hotel very clean with very comfortable and welcoming lounge. Rooms are quite spacious with a table and a sofa, and traps.
I am flying my portfolio in the hotel but this seems an isolated case.
The hostel is close to the Kurfunstendamm of a ten minute walk, a little less for the Metro.
Two supermarkets across from the hotel, and the kitchen is well supplied (warm pasta-French fries-pizza-burgers,... microwave, machine to croque monsieurs, fridge and stultifying and many utensils.)
N dishes "is not to do.
The Kathleen receptionist is very friendly, others also, they are real free guides!

damage, I could not get to the hostel because management did not intend that I stayed there with my daughter therefore I found an another hostel sleepcheap at westend for 10 euros with my 3 year old daughter and it was super, I recommend it.
I did not like my correspondence with the hostel die etage.

The Best Hostel I've been! The staff can anwser every of you question and direct you to the best of Berlin. It is clean and you can cook your own meal which can help you save a little while there, the Ereka shop is just at the corner. The S-Bahn is 5 minutes away by walk and can bring you to the most important lines. The rooms are really cozzy and personalize. They also offer you a list of places to eat, to go, museum, bars, guide tours, etc.

Very good affordable hotel, clean, pleasant, showers and toilets are clean should just be careful some people leave clumps of hair but cleaning is done every day.
the rooms are very nice but very cold because heating does not work in September is a good pair of pyjamas.
the atmosphere is family it feels at home in the kitchen living room and a very competitive discount prices is just next to the hotel.
the staff is listening, they speak English.
many activities (visits buildings ride bars or clubs) are displayed on the walls. charlottenburg and halensee metro stations are located about 10 minutes of walking the neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet, but it is true that nothing is accessible on foot.
Short very good experience if I return to Berlin I come back to this hotel where it quickly takes her small habits.
