Duo Housing is designed to encourage interaction among our guests as much as possible. Our rooms (separated by gender) are shared, as are the bathroom facilities, kitchens, and living rooms. The living room or �social room� has a huge 42� flat screen tv, all the premium cable TV channels, dvd player, and a phone to call anywhere in the continental US.

If you make a reservation that has a check-in date of LESS THAN 48 HOURS away, your credit card must be valid. If your credit card is declined upon processing ( which happens within hours of your reservation being made, your reservation will be canceled immediately.
Any group of 5 guests or more must be prepaid 7 days prior to your scheduled check in date. Any group that wishes to cancel must cancel 5 days prior to your arrival.

You must pay with a credit card. We do NOT have the facility to take any cash what so ever. You will not be able to check in unless you are paying with a credit card.
For safety and information security Duo Housing requires that all guests present a credit card that matches their government issued photo ID upon checking in.
No one under the age of 18 allowed. All guests must be over the age of 18.
You must give us 48 hours notice of a planned cancellation. If no notice is given the first day of your reservation will be charged. Each consecutive day of your reservation will be charged until we are notified of your intent not to arrive.
CHECKIN: You may enter the house at 11am but not before. You may leave your luggage with us prior to that, but may not spend time in the property until 11am. Your bed will be ready by 3pm on the day of your checkin
CHECKOUT: We request that you vacate the property by 11am. This means all of your belongings must be out of the room and you must leave the property by 11am. You may leave your luggage with us until 3pm on the day of your departure, but if your luggage stays past 3pm you will be charged the currently posted daily rate as a luggage storage fee.
Bicycle storage is available - however it is only available upon checkin and checkout. No 'in and out' service is available during your stay otherwise.

AIRPORT: From Los Angeles International Airport you can use either a taxi-cab ( normally about $37 ) or use the Blue SuperShuttle.
The SuperShuttle is about $18 - $20 USD
Claim your luggage, proceed outside and look for the orange “Shared Ride Van” sign located on the outer island. Contact our Guest Service Representative dressed in a blue SuperShuttle uniform and they will assist with your transportation needs.
OTHER LOCATIONS:
We are within 2 blocks from 2 different bus lines and 4 blocks from the metro station.
RED LINE 710 BUS: Get off at the corner of 9th & Crenshaw. Turn LEFT and the house will be on your RIGHT
ORANGE LINE 210 or 305 BUS: Get off at the corner of 9th & Crenshaw. Turn LEFT and the house will be on your RIGHT
Western & Wilshire Metro Station: When you exit the metro station above ground, turn LEFT and walk to CRENSHAW BLVD. Turn LEFT onto Crenshaw and walk 3 blocks. We are on the LEFT hand side.

Very well placed to visit Los Angeles, I spent 3 nights, they have changed me room for the third night and they had mit me in a room with 4 beds without window, just opposite the common room or there was an evening, told me you have a "private" room of bath. It was a bit stifling, I could not even ask my bag, there was no place. I call it a broom closet! I requested another room, there was the place, they have changed me without problem!
