Welcome to Central Hostel
We have a safe, clean and CHEAP hostel right in the centre of London.
All Old London Town has to offer is within walking distance from us.
Central Hostel is 5 minutes' walk from Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portobello Markets.
Any DA VINCI CODE enthusiasts' we are 3 minutes walk from OPUS DEI their London Headquarters. '1 minute if your being chased by Sirus'
We are in Zone 1. All London attractions are in this zone. Makes travel by bus and train in London as cheap as you can get it.
Our Dorm rooms are 6-8 people. Quad rooms(4 person) and twin rooms also available.
OUR FACILITIES- 24 hr Reception, Cooking Facilities, Internet, TV and DVDs, Safe Deposit Boxes, Laundry, Smokers' room, all bedding supplied, No CURFEW, No LOCK OUT.

I came 7 nights during the period of November 2011. The sheets are very clean, the rooms also. The home people speak English French Italian and Spanish, rather practical given the large number of Spanish!
Showers are not very practical, doors coats are outside the shower, which requires us to be "naked" in the room where everyone back. Step top!
The corridors are very tight, not practical when it is the 4th floor with a big suitcase!
The pre-analysis home is a plus for this hostel.
(we had unfortunately of the Danes in the next room which is a karaoke completely drunk on 2 pm to 5 pm of the mat and have constantly before our House, and it was absorbed with the carpet on the ground... very practical for the evaporation of the smell....)
Hostel practice for sleeping and showering fast fact, not too far from the city centre.

I am delighted of this youth hostel. Warm welcome, very clean hostel (showers, rooms, bed sheets). The largest dormitories are 8 beds so it is not on each other. Hostel which was one of the most competitive rates (5 nights for 2 persons £ 100). The hostel is in zone 1, so it is very practical and not even 5 minutes walk from bayswater underground station. I also like the decoration of the Inn. It is on the next time I'm going to London I selected this hostel. Beds are not exceptional but it sleeps well especially after long days of visit. In addition we had very sympathetic roommates who met other sleep. However it has neither tried cooking, fridge or the small dej to £ 1.5 per person. I have no criticism to make. Please not a second and choose this hostel.

I spent 5 nights in this hostel with my brother. The welcome is warm, it happens to find at least a member of the staff who speak our language which may sometimes be good practice. We were in a dormitory of 8 beds, room was clean, bed sheets also mornings household is made in the House. We had very friendly roommates from the sleep of the other. The beds are comfortable finally it is not the top but it is still very well. Showers and toilets are very clean. I have no objection to this youth hostel. I spent a very pleasant stay. I also found the decor very nice. I've not tested the breakfast £ 1.5, it did not made the kitchen was not bad air, and were not used the fridge either. The nights are really not expensive to some hostels. And in addition the hostel is located in zone 1 to not even 5 minutes walk to the first metro station (bayswater). It is on the next time I'm in England I'll be back there. I highly recommend the.

However I've not tried the small dej 1.5 £ per person, or used the kitchen, or fridge. I strongly recommend cete youth hostel.

I spent five days in London with a friend and for my part, I am entirely satisfied with my stay at the hostel central. Room (one of 6 girls beds) was very well, very comfortable mattresses, and it éétait with of all that was needed (tables, chairs, washbasin, storage and even a TV.) The sheets had been changed before our arrival in contrast to what I have read in previous comments. Bathroom was on our offset (there are 2 or three by floor which is entirely sufficient) and was very clean. A man of household spent mornings and the cleaned thoroughly (wc, shower, soil...) The only problem are the traces of moisture for my part due to the seniority of the building more than a problem of hygiene. The common room is very well equipped (TV, sofa, tables, chairs, computer, access to plans, good plans...) despite the limited space available to it. The kitchen is very functional and clean, the only problem is the risk to be stolen (d) the food in the fridge (thing that came to us, but here is not the fault of managers if some people are malpolies and allow to do it!) The home, it is very warm, the receptionists are of different nationalities (French, Spanish...) and are really very very nice, it was no problem. For my part, I am super happy to have stay and I will return there without hesitation eyes closed for my next trip to London to aytant more that this hostel is located only five minutes on foot from Bayswater underground station which serves all the tourist sites within ten minutes. Really a very good quality hostel except may be the garish voice of the espgnols to point of hours but here also, is not the fault of managers. And then given the prix, should not hesitate;) Bonvoyage

We spent five days in London with a friends and for my part, I am entirely satisfied with what the hostel offered me: a very suitable room (6 beds for girls), with very comfortable mattresses, bed sheets changed to arrival unlike what I have read in other comments, cupboards, sink in the room, table and chairs and even a TV... It is even very hot unlike what I also have read. Bathroom was just on our offset (there are two or three by floor which is enough) and was very clean despite traces of mould certainly due to the seniority of the building. each morning a man of household had just make cleansing (washbasin, toilets, showers, soils...). The common room is very inviting although small. It has of everything there is a need (good plans, TV, sofa, table chairs...). The cuisine is also very functional, the only problem is the risk to make us prick food (what happened to us, but is not the fault of the managers of the hostel if some people are malpolies...) In the home, nothing wrong, it is very warm, there was not the slightest problem, receptionists are of different nationalities (French, Spanish...) and are very pleasant. For my part, the only problem that I can find to this hostel is the noise at night, finally the garish voice of the present Spanish during my stay. Here too, it is the fault of managers... This was a stay at the top! I am not at all sorry to have chosen this hostel which is perfectly well located (barely 5 minutes on foot from the bayswater station which leads to all the tourist sites within 10 minutes). I expected d'y return and I return the eyes closed to the central Hostel;)

Really warm welcome, establishment very refined, House rather sympathetic, allows to meetings of all horizons.
Near the centre, perfect for walking on Hyde Park.

The most: the situation leaving access even by foot has any central London, the proximity of the metro, district very calm, the opportunity to make its meal, the friendliness of the staff.
The least: the will and just continuing the night in the establishment, the noise of the breakdowns of the bathrooms, heating of the dormitories that we cannot stop, the empoussierage of the dormitories. The fire cut doors maintained voluntarily open with holds! The small size of the common spaces in individuals to eat, the lack of bowls for cooking plates, this could be easily perfectible.

Very good plan for a little wealthy visitor and not too demanding in terms of comfort.
A little old and cramped dormitories. Common portions and bed linen. Quiet neighbourhood.
Strong point: the situation of the hostel, 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park and Metro and bus stations.

Albergue a muy buen precio y bastante limpio. Cocina muy puntos aunque común a poco pequeña, igual al that the sala común. Muy property ubicado y con metro bus there al lado.
Estuvimos cuatro días y muy contentos salimos.

Quite clean and Nice, the sheets are provided, rented bath 1.5 sheet book, 5 minutes from Bayswater underground and 10 minutes from Hide Park in a quiet, we were all 6 in the same dormitory with shower 1, toilet (own) on the level. Possibility of rooms for 2 and dormitory for 4. Practice deposit luggage for 1 pound each.
An ideal solution for small budget or large family.
