About Brado's Backpackers

Our hostel caters to the 18-35s and is run by experienced tour guides who gave up their bus keys for room keys in order to continue to share experiences with fellow travellers.

This is a very social hostel. Our common areas are often filled with like-minded travellers sharing a story, a song, a laugh and the odd glass of goon. It's easy to make friends at Brado's and it's a great place to start your journey if you're travelling alone.

Our hostel is owned and operated by Australians and we aim to offer you the best experience possible while in Sydney. We were tour guides all over Australia for more than six years so we can tell you anything you want to know about Sydney and beyond! Our hostel is big enough to accommodate lots of different types of people but not so big that it's impersonal. We offer tons of activities and a personal touch. Come meet the family!

We have a travel desk and there's a $1 shop at reception in case you run out of emergency supplies! We've got free breakfast (cereal, toast and milk), free tea and coffee all day, free luggage storage (bring your own padlock), a fridge and of course, free linen! There's also air-conditioning, laundry facilities and a massive TV with Foxtel.

We have 6-, 8- and 12-bed dorms so whether you're travelling alone or with mates there's always someone to go out with or to show you around. Most of the dorms are en suite, including the female-only dorms, for that extra bit of privacy.

We offer a number of cool activities, some free and some at great prices, including BBQ nights, pub crawls (with free beer or champagne!) and awesome guided walks.

We take security seriously! There's key access to the building and our long reception hours provide secure guest access 24 hours a day.

Come meet the family!

Please note that we only accept guests between the ages of 18 and 35, with a foreign passport only.
