About Arpacay Hostel

ARPACAY is modern and cosy hostel located in centre of Prague (in non turist quarter SMICHOV), well connected with all attractions. You can reach all sights in 10-15 minutes by direct tram (the stop is right in front of hostel) or by metro (just 4 stops to Mustek in Old Town = 6 minutes).

Our motto is PAY JUST ONCE. All services we provide are included in the basic price. Don't pay additional charges for everything! What does it mean?

All dormitories have PERSONAL LOCKERS and reading-lamps for everyone. All our guests have 3 FULLY EQUIPED GUEST KITCHENS at disposal. Bathroom and toilet are always shared by 2-3 rooms.

FREE LUGGAGE ROOM. You can store your luggage at the reception if your arrival is earlier than check-in time or your departure is planned for later afternoon and you want to go to the city before you leave.

At the hostel you can also find 2 stylistic COMMON ROOMs with SAT TV, ROOF TERRACE with a beautiful Prague scenery. New laundry right at the hostel.

Main RECEPTION is open daily from 7:00 - 24:00.

NO CURFEW - you‘ll get your own key (after paying a deposit of 300 CZK/10€) when you check-in and you will keep it for all your stay.

CHECK-IN time is from 12:00 till 24:00. If you need to arrive a bit earlier you are more than welcome to come and have a coffee or shower before you check-in. In case you are arriving after 24:00 please call to hostel reception to let us know before your arrival and a receptionist will wait for you .

CHECK-OUT time is by 10:00.

The rooms are situated in two separate buildings facing each other across the street (APARCAY hostel RED and GREEN). Both buildings have their own reception and breakfasts are served in both of them.

BREAKFAST is served 7:00 - 10:00 and includes ham, cheese, jam, honey, butter, bread and bread rolls, cornflakes and cerealies with milk, coffee, tea or juice.

At the reception you can get information or directly order many trips and sightseeing tours around Prague and its surroundings. At the reception you can also buy drinks, beer, maps of Prague, call cards...

GUARDED PARKING is available for 210 CZK / 8.5 EUR a day at the car park 300 metres from the hostel (parking cards available at the hostel front desk).

The famous producer of Czech beer „Staropramen“ in just 300m (visitor centre, restaurant and beer bar) – we highly recommend this attraction not only for the beer lovers. Big shopping centre Novy Smichov with supermarket Tesco (opened till midnight 7 days a week) and two cinemas are available at Andel (500 m). And lot of non turist restaurants, local pubs, cafes and clubs around.

Important Information

In case you need cancel your booking or change dates or rooming do it please 1 day before your arrival. Cancellation and all changes made 24H before arrival are without any charge. Cancellation and all changes (rooming, number of persons,...) made on the day of arrival = you pay what you have booked (for the 1st night) and you are able to cancell just for the following nights. Please let us know in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

CHECK-IN time for new guests is from 12:00 till 24:00. The reception is open just till midnight!!! (own hostel key provided by check-in). Check - in before 12:00 is possible just in case the room is already cleaned (we clean and change bed linen between 10:00 and 12:00) or it was unbooked the last night. You can store your luggage at our luggage room for free anyway.

Directions

From the Ruzyne International Airport:

take the fast express bus No. 100 to get to the terminus of subway line B, station 'Zlicin'. By underground go to the stop 'Smichovske nadrazi'. Get out of the subway through the middle stairwell and then go through the gate for the disabled. Go left along the bus area and after circa 50 m there will be a bridge for pedestrians on the left, leading across the railway. Cross the bridge and at the corner on the right of the Radlická Street there is our hostel. (200 m on foot in total). The whole journey takes about 40 minutes and you will need one transfer ticket for 32 CZK.

From Prague Main Railway Station ('Hlavni nadrazí'):

take subway line C to get to 'Florenc', one station away, and there change to line B and go to 'Smichovske nadrazi'. Get out of the subway through the middle stairwell and then go through the gate for the disabled. Go left along the bus area and after circa 50 m there will be a bridge for pedestrians on the left, leading across the rails. Cross the bridge and at the corner on the right of the Radlická Street there is our hostel. (200 m on foot in total). From the 'Holesovice' railway station:

From the city centre:

you can get to us by tram No. 7 Get off at the 'Krizova' tram stop and the hostel is right around the corner.

If you are driving:

at the city circle road follow the signs showing the direction to PLZEN. When you come at the Barrandov Bridge over the Vltava River, keep in the left line and follow signs showing the direction to SMÍCHOV and after circa 200 m turn left to DEJVICE/KOSIRE. Pass through a short tunnel under railway and after circa 500 m (before another tunnel) turn right in the direction to RADLICE. Climb the hill and on the first traffic lights turn left to the Radlická Street. The ARPACAY hostel is right at the corner on the right opposite the crossing. You can park free of charge in the street in front of the hostel or anywhere around or on a guarded parking lot 'Na Knížecí'.

CHECK-IN time:

is between 12:00 and 24:00. If you are arriving later, please call the reception before your arrival and the receptionist will wait for you. There is NO CURFEW, at check-in you will get your own key (300 CZK/10€ deposit) and you will then have 24 hour access to the hostel.
