I would not recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to LA. I was travelling around the US for two weeks and I fell at my most unsafe when I was at this hostel. The hostel is located in Inglewood which is synonymous with gang activity and we saw that the second we left the hostel to get some food. The hostel offers a free shuttle service and as long as you don't mind waiting an hour for the shuttle to arrive, it's ok. It took around 40 minutes for us to check and all of that time was spent at the reception (not waiting to be served) For the price, the rooms are reasonable if crowded, had this been in a better location it may be passable as mediocre hostel. Next time I visit LA I will be spending a bit more money and time travelling to a safer location rather than settling for a cheap substitute near the airport. I advise you do the same!

l'endroit le moins cher de L.A. le patron est sympa, mais l'endroit n'est pas fait pour acceuillir autant de personnes, ce n'est pas une auberge, c'est la maison du patron avec des lits jusque dans le salon!

Not being able to flush toilet paper was unhygienic and made me very uneasy.

Also someone stolen my clothe.

Très bien placé, les locaux sont propres. Cependant, points négatifs concernant le nombre de douches et de toilettes. Parfois, il faut faire la queue. Sinon, c'est tout a fait convenable au niveau rapport qualité/prix

Nice location, nice staff, confortable beds and clean bathroom. I enjoyed my stay in this typical motel. The internet connection was kinda slow. I advise you to cross the street and go to the book cafe for a delicious breakfast !

Very well placed to visit Los Angeles, I spent 3 nights, they have changed me room for the third night and they had mit me in a room with 4 beds without window, just opposite the common room or there was an evening, told me you have a "private" room of bath. It was a bit stifling, I could not even ask my bag, there was no place. I call it a broom closet! I requested another room, there was the place, they have changed me without problem!

Staff were laid back and welcoming. I knew about smoking on ground floor before I came but it would make for a nice experience if place was smoke-free.

We spent 6 nights in the Venice Beach hostel, and it was very nice. Very cool place, clean and calm, a big open-house where young people from erverywhere live together.

+ : nice place, good value for money, nice and friendly staff, good location

- : smoking allowed inside, bedrooms a bit overloaded

For me it was a pleasure to stay in Venice Beach Hostel is a very comfortable place, with a unique personal, attentive and wonderful. And the house is charming!

In the time that i was, the hostel was very quiet environment, it was like being at home, and that comforts a lot when you are traveling.

La chambre était propre.

Nous n'avons pas eu trop chaud durant la nuit, mais en été il doit faire chaud et comme la chambre est située sur la cour il se peut qu'a vec les fenêtres ouvertes il y ait du bruit.

Nous sommes satisfaites de notre séjour à Banana Bungalow West Hollywood.

chambre minuscule qui pue l'humidité et le renfermé, qui sert aussi de passage pour accédé a une autre chambre !! les draps son mal lavé et les serviette n'en parlons pas !! a déconseillé si vous prenez les chambres mixte

Nice location. Staff was really nice, quiet place. Beds were a little uncomfortable.
