This hostel looks brand new and is very clean and tidy. The location is great for the beach, but the surrounding area isn't the nicest. However I had no trouble walking anywhere during my stay and often returned late at night or in the early hours of the morning. I would have liked to stay longer and would definitely stay again.

Staying at gava has been pleasant and relaxing. A quite and clean hostel with a great staff, a really nice couple ready to help you to make your vacation easy and funny. The hostel is located very close to the Bavaro Beach and close to restaurants and markets.

The staff are the most caring and entertaining mix of cultures making sure that everyone is having a good time. No wifi gets everyone talking, exchanging stories, playing games it's more like a community with their very own private beach. The hostel serves good food too. Just make sure to book ahead of time as this place gets pretty fully booked.

The hostel has no wifi which gives you a lot of opportunity to mingle and be involved with activities that the staff have organized. You can either relax by the hammocks or socialize and get the most amazing experience.
