About Locanda David
Locanda David is a small family guest-house in the centre of the city, only 350 metres from Santa Maria Novella, Florence's central railway station. It is just a few minutes walk from the most important museums and works of art and the most famous shops and markets are all nearby.
We offer guest pleasant, quiet, spacious accommodation, single, double, triple room, mix dorm.
On your arrival you will be welcomed heartily and you will be given the key of your room and that of the building. The entrance time is not limited (no curfew), so you can visit Florence on your way.
The parking is available but not is free
For to cancel or to change your reservation without penalty is possible if you send e.mail 48 hours before chek in.
Time limit for chek out is 11 AM
Chek in is possible from 10 AM to 4 PM and from 7 PM to 11 PM but please call the number in the bell.

Locanda David is situated in the centre of Florence, 350 metres from the central railway station (Santa Maria Novella). The most important monuments and museums (the Uffizi, the Gallery of the Academy, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio) and the most prestigious shops of the town are within walking distance.
We are 200 metres from exposition centre of Fortezza da Basso and congress centre of Piazza Adua. The streets to reach our house on Via Jacopo Peri 2 are Via Alamanni and Via Guido Monaco.

Very agreablement surprised by this hostel. Room very clean bathroom, not more than 5 users by bathroom. TV and refrigerator and fan. very well located, in 15 min you are town centre, 2 min. from the railway station.

Hostel strong bad, the ILO is burlesque, and very warm. It will tell you in the arrival "No., solo where to sleep"... But the morning (from 9) on does you not even sleep. Being located near the train station and a passing Street, the hostel is very noisy and the bathrooms are dirty. Horrible!

Los señores que lo llevaban eran bastante agradables y el precio del albergue es inmejorable. Por otra parte No. estaba especialmente limpio (esto no significa than estuviera sucio ni mucho menos), los colchones No. eran los mejores y hasta el centro tenéis a paseito.
No está del todo mal.

I do not recommend it useless, dirty, old, shared bathroom.
When we arrived, the staff made us pay 'bail', that we never returned, and that in any other hostel asked us.

The hostel is close to the train station walk and the price is excellent. Negative detail are bathing hygiene that is really lacking, are very dirty and shower Cap when the you are using.
Besides this because they have no reception should arrive and call on the phone numbers that appear on the poster on the door, that is that if you don't have phone to call you must search in the vicinity and it is not easy.
You don't have internet and also makes a lot noise.

Emplacement pratique, vraiment la gare 5 min... chouette accueil... Propre... le seul truc est qu'on entends tout... du coup bruyant selon les personnes sur place... pas d'insonorisation.. genre ancien grand bourgeois appart...
