The hostel is clean, comfortable and well is only a little distant from tourist spots. Has the market around, which is good.

les bacs à douches fuient, les murs se désagrègent,stationnement plus que difficile,les matelas sont inconfortables et pas toujours très propres, les portes des chambres se referment très bruyamment,et il serait judicieux de rappeler à certains qu'un minimum d'hygiène est de rigueur,

il semblerai que le weekend,ça boit pas mal et ça braille sous les fenêtres des chambres

Estuve en el hostel Meininger of Kolonia este verano. Solo estuve una noche y la verdad muy as well. The era of 8 personas pero solo our metieron habitacion a otras 2, dejando 3 camas free. The era pequeña, pero tenia television, buenas vistas muuy habitacion con una gran ventana y una mesa y silla. Tambien tenia baño completo in the habitacion.

El colchon No. valía para nada...

Por lo demás, el desayuno dejaba mucho que desear para tener que pagarlo encima a parte.

Pero lo bueno es that el hostal tenia cocina con todos los electrodomesticos, y eso siempre es una buena noticia para No. gastar dinero in restaurantes por la ciudad.

Y habia ascensor, tambien es un punto a tener a favor.

Of localizacion, no. estaba mal del todo.

The Hostel was clean and the bed confortable, it is a pity that they do not put bed sheets. The room (4 bed) and bathroom are quite small, but perfect if you are not planning to stay long in the hostel and rather go to explore Köln. The location is quite good also, you have to walk just like 5 minutes to the tram station and 15 to 20 to the main central street in the city center. The hotel staff is not that friendly but you do not need to contact them that often after all. I recomend it for a short stay (3 to 4 days) in the city.

Très jolie auberge! Elle ne paie par de mine de l'extérieur, mais l'intérieur est très bien entretenu. Jolie déco africaine dans le salon, et toutes les pièces sont parfaitement propres. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables, on s'y sent comme chez soi.

Seul petit bémol à mentionner, le personnel est parfois un peu froid. Mais peut-être était-ce aussi à cause de la barrière de la langue... Sinon, cette auberge est juste parfaite! Très bon rapport qualité/prix!

What a great little place this is!

I was delighted to find that, despite the size (or perhaps because of it) this hostel is quiet and clean. Easy to reach from the centre of town (close enough for a short-journey ticket on the U-Bahn), when I arrived the owner provided a map with details of places to visit and how to get there. Cologne is not exactly the rowdiest place anyway, but having a hostel that is in a quiet suburb was great to get back to at the end of a day exploring.

Big, big plus: this place is CLEAN. And I mean CLEAN. No nasty surprises in the bathroom, or anywhere else for that matter. If you've ever had a bad experience with hygiene in a hostel, you have nothing to worry about here.

Don't be put off by the lack of 24-hour reception: you get your keys when you check in and can come and go as you please.

No complaints! Would definitely stay here again.
