staff very very nice, dormitory and showers very correct. having the galleys meeting place I could have the support of some members of the staff, I can tell you that ca makes good location near the airport and hongqiao railway station of the same name so far from the main airport: careful if your flight is in the evening, more metro after 10 pm, it must be effective 1 h - 1 h 30 for the metro a bus runs from pudong a hongqiao and then another to the hotel but nothing is in English so do spring gaff not necessarily easy to find exiting the station beixinjing must cross the bridge, to identify with the supermarket and turn left (a between supermarket)

good facilities, free wifi, comparativly close to subway station...

At the first blush the area near hostel can seems dangerous and dirty (especially if you arrived in the dark and it's your first visit to Shanghai). But the hostel territory is definitely homeless and the name "Hidden Garden" is truly, cuz it is quite and comfortable place, where u can have relax after hard shopping day :) also there are a lot of place to sit with company or alone in the corner or inside.

The personal is pleasant, especially English-speaking reception boys and girls ^)

I stayed for 1 night at this hostel as i needed accomodation for an additional night in Shanghai before flying home. The hostel was clean, tidy and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to other travellers. I booked the accomodation in the UK before my journey.

chambre individuel propre pour un bon prix. Sanitaire communs propre également. Situé a 300 m d'une station de metro.

We had a great time at Mingtown Shanghai. Close to the Bund, railwaystation etc. Our kids (8 and 10 years old) enjoyed the pooltable. Breakfast was quite well. I will recommend this adress.

Very pleasant stay. We had a room with 2 twin beds, private bath room and window. Towels changed every day. Persons managing the home and the bar/restaurant are very welcoming and warm. The kitchen is good. Hostel located in the city centre allowing easy access to various tourist points.

Extremely clean. Good bar area and good breakfasts available to buy. Try not to have an internal room with no windows - very stuffy! Helpful reception staff. Good location 5 minutes walk from The Bund. Wi - fi and laundry.

Very nice and well located youth hostel (central location, near the Bund).

The double rooms with private bathroom and window are very comfortable and very clean for a reasonable price.

The single rooms without bathrooms or window are of a good quality/price ratio, even if the window is a little depressing.

Showers and common washroom hygiene is average.

Downstairs, a pleasant atmosphere, the staff is quite friendly.

Two computers with internet access free.

The bar is pleasant with its sofas.

Overall, a good stay for a reasonable price!

I stayed in a Private Ensuite with a double bed, the room was big enough and clean, nice shower, no neighborhood noise, friendly English-speaking staff, within walking distance of the bund or the subway station. Though my room didn't have a window, I still find the room charge quite reasonable, so I may stay there again when I have a chance to visit Shanghai.

Auberge bien placée, chambe spacieuse.Personnel plus ou moins compétent: le barman nous a réclamé une 2ème fois l addition... il s est trompé dans le total une autre fois, ils ont réclamé 20 yuan ppour des serviettes de toilette qu' on avait pas eu....

bref avis mitigé!

Wi-Fi環境が悪い。とても遅かったです。部屋や共同シャワールーム、トイレなどは、とてもきれいでした。でも、全体的に変な匂いがしました。窓が無いからかもしれません。

Comfortable stay, pleasant and competent staff. Nothing to say.

the rooms are air-conditioned and property. in the dortoires of 6 people should not fall with a buzzer (it is across such).

the smoker is a hammam.

ホステルは駅出口から5分ぐらいの場所で解りやすく、べんりでた。

但し、レストランの服務員はケチャップを頼んだら自分で取りにいけ と笑顔を見せず、気分が悪かったです。

次回上海に行く時は泊まりたいと思っています。

２日間泊まりました。

Wベッドで、部屋も清潔でとても良かったです。

ホステルの場所も11番出口から3分程度で近く便利でした。

スタッフも英語が解るので、良かったです。

但し少し気分が悪かったのは、レストランの服務員にケチャップを頼んだら、自分で取りにいけと怖い表情で言われたのが、気に成ったぐらいでした。

次回も利用したいと思います。

Hi, the hostel is really good. We spent 3 night in 12 bed mix bedroom. Its doesn't costs a lot of money. On the other hand, you get good conditions, clean rooms and nice service. After visiting the city, there is a possibility to spent some time on very comfortable sofas:)

Hotel very good position, quiet with the nearby Metro. the staff is very friendly and speaking English. the restaurant is very good and the terrace is very pleasant. very good value for money, to recommend.

Single room with bathroom without window: good quality-price ratio, even if the lack of window is depressing. The partition between the bathroom and the room is transparent. Out his guests of the House to go to the toiletttes, it is a little special.

Wonderful experience, great and clean facility, wonderful self-serve kitchen though a tad small for a hostel that big. Lots of bathrooms and showers. Close to both convenience stores, and street food stalls.

Great location: 5 min walk to the Bund. Very close to Metro station.

My 6-bed dorm was very clean, well organized but a bit crowded. Each bed has a lockable locker - very nice.

Contrary to one previous review, there is an elevator.

My room didn't have window and it was really small (4 bedrooms), it was humid and claustrophobic.

The hostel is clean and the staff polite.
