About Camping Village Il Poggetto
Welcome to Camping Village Il Poggetto.
Il Poggetto is an holiday park in the bed of Tuscany, situated 15 km southeast from Florence, in the middle of green hills, wine and olive yards, in the famous Chianti Territory.
Florence, the capitol of Arts, is easy to reach by bus. The busstop is only a 50 meters walk away from the camping.
For those who loves shopping, only 6 km away, there is a brand new outlet center (The Mall), where you can find Valentino, Gucci, Armani, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.
After a day of shopping, you can take a break in our pool (included in the price). Enjoy our country life by riding a horseback through the Tuscan hills or taste wine at the Chianti bottega nearby!
At the end of your day, don't forget to visit our famous Restaurant. A perfect place to fill up your belly with a great plate of pasta or pizza and a good Chianti wine.
Our nice staff will be glad to help you to plan your holiday, by giving you all the informations you need about Florence, the Chianti region and also about nice campings in Siena, Pisa, Rome and Venice .
Very Important: Tourist tax of � 0.80 per person per night. The 'Tourist Tax' has been put into place since 01/01/2012.

For cancellations or modifications; you have to inform us 24 hours before the date of your arrival. Otherwise one night will be charged. In addition during your check-in it�s obligatory to pay the full balance of your reservation, even if you decide to stay less nights than what you have booked.

For cancels: you must inform us 24 HOURS BEFORE THE DATE OF YOUR ARRIVAL. In case you do not arrive without informing us, or you cancel too late,a one night charge will be taken from your creditcard. Furthermore the full balance of your reservation must be paid at the moment of the check-in.

How to reach us by bus or by train:
BY BUS: from Central Station 'SMN in
Florence (50 mt far from there) in Street ' Santa Caterina da Siena', you find the SITA BUS STATION.
Go at GATE Nr.10, this bus goes to Camping Village Il Poggetto, in the village of Cellai.
LAST BUS 20,10.
Sunday timetable: 10,00 18,00 19,35 (all inside the building)
BY TRAIN: At Central Station SMN in Florence take the regional train direction AREZZO (NOT THE INTERCITY ). Exit at RIGNANO SULL'ARNO (ca. 30 minutes).
Last train departs 10.08 p.m. (Nr. last train is 11689).
BY CAR: take the motorway A1 direction Rome, exit in Incisa Reggello, turn to the left and after 300 mt to the right. You'll across a little bridge on the river Arno. After that bridge to the right. Follow the main street (SP1 - Strada Provinciale Aretina nr. 1 ) for 6 Km and you'll find us. Before to arrive you'll pass the villages of Burchio, Palazzolo and le Valli and then you find our Campsite on the left side of the Main Road!! :-) BENVENUTI!
